New Dates: Brainspotting with Relationships
There is a solution to chronic pain—
and I’m here to help you get there.
I apply proven, state-of-the-art methods that have been shown to greatly reduce or
even eliminate chronic pain and its related symptoms.
Works for most forms of:
✅ Back pain, including most disc bulges and degenerative changes,
✅ Neck pain, including most disc bulges and degenerative changes,
✅ Other musculoskeletal pain
✅ Chronic headaches,
✅ Migraine,
✅ Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI)
Chronic pain doesn’t always begin in the body. While it may show up as backaches, neck tension, fibromyalgia, headaches, or repetitive strain, many of these symptoms are now understood to arise from something deeper: the brain’s interpretation of safety and threat. This emerging understanding is called neuroplastic pain—a form of pain that’s real, but reversible.
Pain, at its core, is the body’s way of saying, “Pay attention.” It’s meant to protect us when injury occurs. But sometimes, the brain misreads the signals. It treats harmless sensations as if they were dangerous, sounding alarms where none are needed. In these moments, pain becomes a learned response—a habit of the nervous system rather than a reflection of damage.
This doesn’t mean the pain is imagined. Far from it. Brain scans show clear activity when neuroplastic pain is present. The suffering is genuine. What’s hopeful is this: if the brain can learn pain, it can also unlearn it. With the right support—psychological tools, somatic awareness, emotional processing, and compassionate presence—these patterns can shift. Healing becomes possible, not by denying the pain, but by understanding its source.
All Pain is REAL. BUT "pain" can be caused solely by the brain
without any tissue or structural damage! This is known as Neuroplastic Pain.
It works. It really works. HOW?
Unlearning pain begins with understanding that the nervous system is not broken—it’s simply been conditioned to stay on high alert. Through education, guided reflection, and gentle mind-body practices, client learn to recognize the patterns that may be fueling their pain response. This process helps shift the brain’s perception from danger to safety, allowing the body to relax and begin healing. It’s not about pushing through pain, but about listening differently—inviting curiosity, compassion, and calm into the conversation between brain and body.
In a supportive coaching space, we explore how emotions, stress, and past experiences may have shaped the pain story. Clients are never asked to “think away” their pain, but rather to build new neural pathways grounded in safety, trust, and self-awareness. Over time, many find that pain lessens or even disappears—not through force, but through understanding. This approach honors each person’s journey and offers a hopeful, science-backed path toward relief and reconnection with the body.
